Referral Rewards: The One Offer You Cannot Finish Yourself
Every other promotion depends on your own actions: deposit, stake, clear the requirement. A referral programme breaks that pattern — you send the invitation, but the outcome is decided by what the invited person does over their first few weeks. Almost every complaint about these programmes traces back to that dependency, and this page maps where the chain tends to break.
Check the current programmeThe full chain of conditions
- The referring account must be verified and, in many programmes, active for a set period.
- The invited person opens an account through the link or code received — the steps are on the registration page.
- The new account completes identity verification.
- The new account makes a validated deposit of at least the stated minimum.
- The new account reaches a minimum staked amount inside a limited window.
- Only then is the reward credited to the referrer.
Six links, four of them outside your control. The completion rate in practice is far lower than the programme description implies, and delays are the norm rather than the exception.
Where it breaks
Attribution. If the invited person opens the account by any route other than the link they were sent, the connection is never recorded and cannot be reconstructed afterwards. This is the leading cause and the most frustrating, because everything looks correct until the moment payment is due.
Anti-fraud checks. Two accounts sharing a connection or a device are flagged automatically. Members of one household hit this constantly, and unlocking it requires a conversation with support plus documents establishing separate identities.
The activity threshold. Someone who registers, deposits a small amount and never returns does not meet the staking condition. The reward is not paid in part and does not roll forward.
What actually lands
In most programmes the reward arrives as bonus balance rather than cash, which means it carries its own wagering requirement and its own expiry, exactly like any other promotion. The result is an offer earned through the effort of persuading somebody, then locked behind the same conditions as a routine reload. Cash versions exist, but the amounts are visibly smaller.
One point that is about judgement rather than mechanics: inviting someone means recommending an activity with financial risk. It belongs to adults who already play, with budgets fixed in advance, and the responsible gambling page is where both accounts should look before the first deposit.
